I have a master’s degree in Environmental Management from the School of Design and Environment of the National University of Singapore and Master of Arts in Humanities and Social Science from Tribhuwan University. I did my undergraduate degree in Environment Science from Kathmandu University, Nepal.

Before coming to West Virginia University, I was working as Senior Researcher at Institute for Social and Environmental Transition-Nepal (ISET-N), Kathmandu, Nepal. I have also worked as Research Engineer at Tropical Marine Science Institute, National University of Singapore, Singapore after completing my Master Degree. I also worked in many NGOs based in Kathmandu and outside Kathmandu in many capacities in Nepal. I have published articles and paper in national and international journals.
